About the Meeting

About the 15th International EAUN Meeting

Considering the rapid developments of urology and the diversity of urological nursing in Europe the development of urological patient care poses a great challenge. Since its inception in 2000, the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN) has committed itself to understand and meet the diverse needs of urological nurses on the continent. Although this is a mammoth task, it is a task that is essential if the goal of high quality patient care is to be realised throughout Europe. One increasingly valuable tool in the sharing of nursing knowledge is the EAUN Annual Meeting.

The EAUN, with generous support and encouragement from various EAU offices and an increasing number of supporting companies, is resolutely committed to a range of activities that will meet the research, practice and development needs of Europe’s urological nursing community.

The meeting’s Scientific Programme will present state-of-the-art lectures by experts, multi-disciplinary open forums and workshops that will closely look into current challenges faced by urology nurses. Practical insights, best hospital practices and the latest updates on research studies and education, among others, will also be addressed and presented in plenary sessions and other activities during the three-day event.

We also encourage your participation in our well-attended abstract sessions, difficult cases workshop and research plan presentations that reflect the level of research activities of nursing associations across Europe.
